Call it home theater made easy.
In effort to simplify the home theater design process for both dealers and their customers, Valhalla, N.Y.-based Rayva has come up with a novel concept: pull together all the components, designs, engineering elements and pricing for 15 complete, pre-packaged rooms that can be sold neatly from the showroom floor.
Participating vendors include Origin Acoustics (cabinet speakers); Barco Residential (projectors); Stewart Filmscreen (projection screens); Josh.ai (voice assistant and remotes); Fortress Seating (theater seating); AudioControl (amps); and Middle Atlantic (racks).
Retails for the complete home theater packages range from $68,000-$250,000, excluding installation, and can accommodate room sizes from 12 x 16 ft. up to 18 x 23 ft. or more.
Clients can choose their home theater from an online configurator, and can demo it virtually through VR goggles or 360-degree views on a computer screen. Installation takes one day.

Rayva also provides dealers with local marketing support, and “a substantial discount” on showroom or model-home displays, president George Walter said.
“It’s all about simplifying the process,” he told attendees at a Friday morning CEDIA event. “We sell the entire room; it’s a collaborative effort.”
